Grilles & Registers

Al Samah’s double deflection air grille is composed of two sets of deflecting blades mounted in two adjacent planes. The two sets of deflecting blades are mounted in such a way that one set is vertically mounted and the other set is horizontally mounted.

Key Features :          

  1. Frame & Blades are made of  High quality, extruded aluminium 6063 Alloy construction.

2. Blades positively hold deflection setting under all conditions of velocity and pressure.

3. Adjustable air pattern – Blades are friction pivoted and easily adjusted to provide desired spread or deflection.

4. Integral dampers – Aluminium. Opposed blade design with a screwdriver slot operator.

Galvanized Iron (GI) Air Ducts

Galvanized Iron (GI) Ducts are manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised sheets in accordance with ASTM A 653 Lock forming quality with G90/Z27 (275 grams/m2) zinc coating and as per the international duct fabrication standards. The straight ducts have beading all along at a distance of 300mm to avoid vibration and adds strength to them.  The accessories used to assemble ducts are high grade which results in no leakage and better air flow.

Fire Rated Galvanized Iron (GI) and Mild Steel (MS) Ducts

Non-Coated Fire Rated System is tested and certified as per BS 476 Part 24: 1987 for 2 hours Stability and Integrity for Type A & Type B with Horizontal and Vertical installation.

Civil Defence Certificate approved for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Pre-Insulated & Phenolic UL-181 Ducts

Al Samah’s Pre-Insulated and Phenolic UL-181 ducts are fabricated from the highest quality approved panels. The PIR panels comprises of a high performance, rigid thermoset polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core. The insulation core is faced on both sides with an embossed aluminium foil.

Al Samah’s Phenolic ducts are light weight premium quality and performance air duct system for air distribution. The Phenolic panels are manufactured of CFC/HCFC free closed cell phenolic foam. Duct system are UL Listed as a class 1 air duct as a standard for safety UL Class 181 and Conform in accordance with Dubai Central laboratory.

Phenolic Panels have a fibre-free and closed cell insulation core, which has been manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Volume Control Dampers

Al Samah manufactures a complete range of Volume Control Dampers designed for air balancing of your HVAC ductwork system. The unit comes with complete manual quadrant or motorized actuators. Energy efficiency, indoor air quality and fine workmanship are the basis of our engineered products.

Sound Attenuators

Al Samah’s Sound Attenuators are the best and reliable answer to reduce all the noise produced by the Fans/Propeller used in the HVAC systems to the amount of work they do to move the air, much of the noise is generated by the fluctuating of radiated pressure and these waves are distributed approximately equally in all directions, causing “Duct born noise” and “Breakout” or “Flaking noise”.

Our Sound attenuator (Silencer) are carefully designed to combat noise problems. Galvanized steel outer casing of the silencer is designed as per “ASHRAE” guide, perforated baffles is filled with an odorless, incombustible vermin proof and moisture proof inorganic sound absorbing material. Aerodynamically shaped sound attenuation splitter reduces drag by 30% which results in greater energy savings.

Access Doors

Al Samah’s access doors has been designed to allow easy and convenient access to the equipment within HVAC ductwork, while providing a secure, positive seal when closed.

Product Features:

  1. 22 Gauge galvanized steel (G90 Zinc coating) flanged frame for strength.
  2. Double skinned 24Gauge galvanized steel door panel with fiberglass insulation of 24 to 32 Kg/M^3 density.
  3. Galvanized steel quick release cam-lock for positive closure. Also available in continuous piano hinges and safety retaining chain.
  4. Rubber foam self-adhesive gasket for positive seal.
  5. Available in Stainless steel, Aluminium & PIR(Phenolic UL181) construction.

Non Return Dampers

Al Samah’s NRD are also called Gravity damper, Pressure relief damper and self closing damper. These are used  in areas where air is supposed to flow only in one direction. These are air operated, opening or closing dampers for intake, discharge and pressure relief vents in air conditioning systems.

Construction and Features:

  1. Frame is of high quality extruded aluminium profiled / Galvanized sheet steel.
  2. Blades are made of extruded aluminium profile / Galvanized sheet steel.
  3. Blades are fitted with nylon bushes for rattle free and smooth operation.
  4. Blades are sealed with foam gasket at the bottom to avoid rattling noise and to provide air tight operation.
  5. Designed to maintain a constant pressure level inside pressurized rooms by relieving excess air when it exceeds the desired limit.
